Welcome to the
Tri-Community Area...

SouthbridgeOn behalf of the more than 585 members of Central Mass South, I am pleased to extend a warm greeting to you. Whether you have chosen the Area as a vacation spot or for your new home, I am certain that you will discover that the Tri-Community offers unsurpassed amenities in what we feel is the most beautiful part of New England.

We call this spot The Gateway of New England. That is because major roadways converge on the Tri-Community Area like the confluence of great rivers, linking it to the major capitals of New England and beyond.

We are known and envied for our gracious life style. While in close

Charlton proximity to major technology centers, major highways, educational institutions, business and service sectors of the local economy, we offer the ambience of small, friendly cities, comfortable suburban neighborhoods and quiet, rural living.

By far the greatest treasure of the Tri-Community Area is its people. New Englanders believe in stable government, old-fashioned work ethics, and love of the land. From the stoic early settler James Dennison, who came to the Area in 1728, to the Wells family and their Sturbridgere-creation of an early town in Old Sturbridge Village in 1937, we take pride in the forbearance and creativity exhibited by the people of our area.
